We are proud to say at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Monroe, we’ve been successful in incentivizing good behavior on and off the mat!
We love getting the kids to think about how to be their best selves. The Bullyproof Character Development Program rewards the kids for developing their character for success in all aspects of life.
For two-month periods, we focus on one of the six character development topics: Responsibility, Health, Respect, Citizenship, Manners, Caring. We spend a short portion of each class discussing the topic of the month. Outside of class, the children are rewarded by their parents for taking action on the topic. 10 points are rewarded if the parent suggests an action and the child follows through. 20 points are rewarded if the child initiates the action on their own. You can track your child’s points on the Character Development Chart (bonus point charts are available).
Children who earn their age x 100 in Character Development Points are invited to our Gracie Game Day party at the end of each 2-month period. This is a 2-hour SUPER FUN party for the kids, packed with games, crafts, pizza, grand prizes, and the awarding of their Character Development Badges!
